Berean vs YouVersion

When YouVersion is the better choice
If you read in more than one translation or language, YouVersion is hard to beat. It has thousands of reading plans, and it lets you read and pray alongside friends. It is free.
When Berean is the better choice
Choose Berean if you mostly listen, and you often reach a verse you do not understand. Hold the mic and ask who someone is or what a word meant. Berean answers aloud, names the verses it used, and then the reading continues from the same word.
Berean also keeps everything about a passage in one place. Your highlights, your comments, and every answer stay on the verse they are about, so you find them again the next time you read it.
You can use both
You can keep YouVersion for plans with friends and use Berean for listening on a walk or a drive. Reading in Berean is free, so trying it costs nothing.
