Common Questions

How do I start my free trial?

Download Berean and tap “Start Free Trial” when prompted. You get 7 days of full access to Berean Pro, including interactive voice Q&A.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find Berean and tap Cancel Subscription. You’ll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

What Bible translation does Berean use?

Berean uses the English Standard Version (ESV).

How does the voice Q&A feature work?

While listening to a passage, you can interrupt at any time to ask a question. Your voice is converted to text, an AI generates a response based on the passage you’re reading, and the answer is read back to you.

What data does Berean collect?

Your reading progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. If you use voice Q&A, audio is processed in real time but not permanently stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

Open Berean, go to Settings, and tap “Delete Account.” This removes your authentication data and any server-side information. Local data can be removed by uninstalling the app.

The app isn’t playing audio. What should I do?

Make sure your iPhone is not in Silent Mode (check the side switch). Verify that your volume is turned up and that you have an active internet connection, as audio is streamed.
